Phase 2 - Fiber

Phase 2 rollout will be wired fiber, beginning Q1 2023 (in addition to the previously deployed 60 GHz wireless), 6-core buried fiber and equipment by MikroTik. Coverage will be limited initially to properties adjacent to Lot 117, expanding further sequentially from there. The equipment and fiber cost per house will be no more than $1500 (verify) (assuming 100’ lot width), with most houses being less, and equipment being shared among multiple houses in many cases. Total bandwidth available to the wired network will be 20 Gbps shared amongst clients, with future expansion options to 40-100 Gbps using the same fiber run. Individual clients will be connected at 1 Gbps unless more bandwidth is requested/needed.
